At Rose Garden Academy (RGA), each child is essential and parents are valued partners in their child's educational journey, and we actively engage them in fostering a supportive home environment that reinforces Islamic values and teachings. Our program is academically rich and designed to promote your child’s growth and development. Early Childhood Education invests in your child’s development and future success. Thank you for choosing Rose Garden Academy for your child’s early care and education. Transitioning into any new environment can be challenging and cause anxiety for any child or adult.
Our staff is trained and has the experience to be alert and aware of your child’s reaction to their new environment and will be sensitive to their feelings. Separation anxiety is common, and your child may resist attending school in the beginning. However, after several days, drop-offs become easier. We suggest that after you walk your child to class, simply hug your child and assure them that you will return for them when it is time to pick them up and then leave. Prolonging your departure could cause more anxiety for your child. We encourage parents to call/text any time during the day to learn how their child is adjusting.
If needed, the Director will be very happy to provide additional suggestions for a smooth and enjoyable transition into the school environment for both you and your child.
